How to receive Christ as your saviour

The question is only asked once in the Bible "What must I do to be saved?" (Acts 16:30)
And the answer is
Acts 16:31
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

All a man needs to do to be saved is trust in Jesus Christ for their salvation.

The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ died for our us.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

The reason Jesus Christ had to die for us is
because we have all sinned and fallen short of God's glory.
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

And because we have all sinned and broken God's law, we are all deserving of eternal punishment in Hell. But Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us.
Galatians 3:13

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Your salvation is eternally secure through Jesus Christ!
John 10:27-28
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

You are sealed until the day of redemption
Ephesians 4:30
Andgrievenottheholy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

To say you could lose your salvation would be to say salvation is by works. Which is not what the Bible teaches for Church Age saints.
Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Not of works, lest any man should boast.

If after having read this article, you have decided that you truly trust 100% in the death, burial and resurrection for your salvation. And not in your own works, then you are saved!
I suggest that you
Pray and confess that you are a sinner deserving of death to God and say that
you are sorry and trust that Jesus Christ is all you need for your salvation.

You are now a new creature in Christ!

2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Therefore, live your life for Christ.
